Profile:
Kazuyo Shimogama
A visit to Hawaii introduced her to Lomi Lomi and sparked her spiritual journey. Inspired by a trip to India, she discovered Ayurveda and began studying it in Japan. Since 2017, she has taught Lomi Lomi at Aso Beauty College and hosts annual Ayurvedic retreats in Sri Lanka. Based in Fukuoka, she also works in Tokyo and the U.S. Called a "true angel of healing energy" by author Alan Cohen, she overcame cancer in 2012 and holds certifications as a calligraphy instructor, Japanese language volunteer, and manners coach.
